Denis on Collaboration

Virtual HQ Solutions founder, Denis Pelych, can be seen talking about the benefits of collaborative technology in a couple of places on the internet.

As part of Denis's work for the National B2B Centre he was filmed in an interview with Guru Online specialist business advice website (registration required).

A cut down version of that interview is available on the B2B Centre website and it provides a useful introduction into what eCollaboration is all about.

Virtual HQ Solutions provide the VHQ WebOffice collaborative working solution, amongst other things, which is designed to allow businesses to working virtually

Labyrinth - What did we learn?

Following on from the last blog post about the Labyrinth Logistics Consulting case study I realised that we hadn't mentioned a key learning point from our work with the company.

We found that Labyrinth had identified a key area of functionality that they regarded as being very important. The company uses its VHQ WebOffice to securely hold important or confidential reports so that they don't expose themselves to risk by carrying such material on laptops or usb memory sticks. Very innovative!

eco-oce Young Enterprise Group

Young Enterprise involvement started again last week, this time with eco-oce.

Very enthusiastic group of young achievers who seemed really motivated and enjoying the opportunity to work together. The company is intending to sell environmentally friendly bags. Their first step has been to raise some money through share sales and by selling tea and coffee at the King Ed's open evening.

Labyrinth Case Study

Just completed a case study highlighting the benefits that Labyrinth Logistics Consultants, based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire, have gained from implementing the VHQ WebOffice.

Labyrinth implemented the WebOffice primarily to give it the collaborative working facilities it needed to expand whilst retaining a virtual organisational model.

Ruth Waring, MD of Labyrinth, said that

"The VHQ WebOffice has improved Labyrinth’s ability to collaborate effectively on client projects even when the team is working at a variety of locations”

E-Business Conference 2008: creating a future advantage

VHQ Solutions has a long association with the National B2B Centre, based at the University of Warwick, it is only fitting then to highlight the forthcoming E-Business conference on September 25th because it covers topics that are very close to our hearts. In particular James Pennington and Steve Orriss are running a workshop on how to use CRM systems to help business processes within small companies.

Look forward to seeing you there.

VHQ Solutions hits the Birmingham Post

VHQ Solutions was able to get a launch story in the Birmingham Post recently to signal the start of its launch marketing around the West Midlands.

VHQ is the brainchild of Denis Pelych former director of the National B2B Centre based at the University of Warwick. Denis has become something of an expert in collaboration technologies and techniques and VHQ was set up to create business focused applications and services for small and medium sized companies.

The VHQ WebOffice, in particular, provides collaboration, finance, opportunity and projevt management capability on a web-based paltform.
